Frequently asked questions

You may find the answer to your questions below, as these are the ones I hear from parents looking to book onto my classes. Please get in touch if your question isn’t answered.

Booking & practical

All bookings are made online through Bookwhen, which is linked directly from our website.

Simply choose the class or course you’d like to attend, select your preferred date, and follow the booking instructions. You’ll receive confirmation of your booking and any further information you need by email.

If you have any problems booking or aren’t sure which class is right for you, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Guidance on when to start a course or class is shown on each of the pages for their specific services. If you’re not sure, just get in touch with Jasmine for clarity before booking.

Classes are being held in various venues in Suffolk and also online via Zoom for Hypnobirthing Courses and Workshops.

As there is preparation required ahead of each course, bookings are non-refundable.

If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know at least 3 days before the course begins. While we’re unable to offer a refund, we’re happy to provide you with a credit note for the amount paid, which can be used towards any Jasmine Blossom Birth & Baby course within 12 months of the original booking.

We understand that circumstances can change, particularly during pregnancy, and we’ll always do our best to be as understanding and helpful as possible.

Please note that credit notes must be used within 12 months of the original booking and are subject to availability.

About hypnobirthing

Not at all. Hypnobirthing can be helpful for all types of birth. The techniques can support you to feel calm, informed and confident, whether you’re planning a physiological birth, using pain relief, having an induction or your birth takes an unexpected turn.
It’s about giving you practical tools and knowledge to help you feel prepared for your birth, whatever that birth may look like.

Absolutely. If you are planning a caesarean birth, I offer a specific Hypnobirthing for Caesarean Workshop, designed especially for parents-to-be preparing for a planned caesarean.

The workshop covers what to expect during a caesarean birth, as well as practical and emotional preparation for the days and weeks afterwards. We’ll look at postnatal planning, caesarean recovery and ways to support your wellbeing during the early days with your baby.

You’ll also learn calming techniques such as breathing, relaxation and visualisation to help you feel prepared, informed and confident throughout your experience.

Your partner doesn’t have to attend, but I highly recommend involving them where possible.
Partners can learn practical ways to support you, as well as the breathing, relaxation and other techniques covered during the workshop. Having your birth partner understand what you’ve learned can help you feel more confident and supported.

If your partner can’t attend, don’t worry — you’ll still get lots from the workshop and will have everything you need to practise at home.

Baby classes

Baby Massage is suitable from around 4 weeks old until your baby starts crawling.

The classes are designed with young, pre-crawling babies in mind, creating a calm and relaxed space for you and your little one to enjoy some special time together.

Once your baby is on the move, the class environment isn’t quite set up to accommodate crawling babies, so we ask that they have not yet started crawling when you join us.

That’s absolutely okay — there’s no such thing as a “perfect” baby class!

Our classes are completely baby-led, which means we follow your baby’s cues and let them set the pace.

If your baby needs a feed, a cuddle, a nappy change, a little walk around or simply wants to have a cry, that’s all part of being a baby. You’re welcome to pause the massage or activities at any time and give your baby whatever they need.

There’s no pressure to complete everything or for your baby to be settled the whole time. Come as you are, and know that you’re in a safe and supportive space where you and your baby are both welcome exactly as you are.

You really don’t need to bring much — just your baby and yourself!
It’s helpful to bring:

Your usual changing bag and nappies
Anything you need for feeding
A muslin or blanket for your baby
A drink for yourself
I’ll provide everything else you need for the class.

Most importantly, don’t worry about having everything perfectly organised. Babies have their own plans, and that’s exactly how it should be. Come along, relax and enjoy some lovely one-to-one time with your baby.
