About Jasmine
Hypnobirthing teacher, antenatal educator and baby massage instructor, based in Woodbridge on the Suffolk coast.
My story
My name is Jasmine. I am a mum of two living on the Suffolk coast, and I am happiest outside, ideally within sight of the sea or somewhere in a field with my children, the dogs and the chickens.
I have always been besotted with all things birth and babies. I think I was still playing with my Baby Born doll at the start of high school, which tells you most of what you need to know.
How it started properly, though, was harder. I had a traumatic birth with my daughter in 2009. Afterwards I could not stop turning it over, and I began reading everything I could find about the physiological process of birth. In my second pregnancy I booked onto a hypnobirthing course, mostly out of curiosity.
It changed things completely. Understanding what my body was doing, and having tools that actually worked, meant I could make decisions rather than have them made around me. I birthed my son in 2015 feeling confident and capable, and had the positive birth I had hoped and planned for.
In 2021 I graduated with a foundation degree in Birth and Beyond, linked with the NCT, and I have been teaching in Woodbridge ever since. While I was studying I also trained with The Little Birth Company as a hypnobirthing instructor. The two go hand in hand, and I use both so that parents get a broad picture: unbiased evidence based information, practical preparation, and everything needed for a positive birth and postnatal journey.
Since January 2025 I have also been teaching baby massage. The five week courses have turned into some of my favourite hours of the week, watching parents settle into a rhythm with their babies and, just as importantly, into a small circle of people who understand exactly where they are.
My approach
I feel very strongly about informed decision making. A birth you are in control of can be a positive one, whether that is a home birth, a hospital birth, an induction or a caesarean. The plan matters far less than whether you understood the choices and felt part of them.
Courses are parent centred and I adapt to whoever is in front of me. We cover the basics of the physiology of birth and the science behind hypnosis, then use deep relaxation and breathing to reframe the negative dialogue most of us have absorbed about birth without ever agreeing to it.
What I want you to leave with is the ability to make informed decisions, and the tools to stay calm and confident through labour, birth and whatever turns the journey takes afterwards.

Pause. Breathe. You're in the right place.
When I'm not teaching
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me somewhere in the Suffolk countryside, making the most of family life with my two children and my two very much-loved Portuguese Water Dogs.
I’m happiest with muddy walking boots on, out for a run, or discovering somewhere new, whether that’s camping around the UK or travelling a little further afield.
I’m also a firm believer that most things in life can be improved with a cup of tea – and I drink a lot of it… all day, every day! I’m partial to a glass of wine with my favourite ladies (my chooks!), an impromptu kitchen disco, and I’ve watched Gilmore Girls enough times that it’s basically a comfort blanket.
I’m naturally a warm, optimistic and down-to-earth person, and I think those qualities are just as important in my work as they are in everyday life. I want the people I work with to feel comfortable, listened to and completely themselves – bringing that same sense of warmth, reassurance and positivity into every session.
